Thrift Stores re-open with new hours and procedures

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Thrift stores are OPEN with new hours and procedures.

STORE HOURS AND PROCEDURES

Monday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. 

Sunday, CLOSED 


Please keep in mind the following new procedures. 

  1. Store staff and volunteers are required to wear face coverings. 
  2. Customer face masks are recommended, and we will provide a disposable mask for customers who need one.
  3. We have sanitizing stations set up at the front of the store for customers.
  4. We will sanitize the carts after every use.
  5. Children must be with their parents/guardians at all times.
  6. One person per cart and no large groups of people allowed.
  7. Store capacity will be limited to five customers per 1,000 sq. ft. of selling floor space.
  8. Fitting Rooms will be closed.
  9. We are asking customers and staff to practice social distancing.
  10. Cash register customer lines will be "marked" for six feet apart.
  11. We will clean high contact areas every 30 minutes.
  12. A manager will be stationed at the front door to answer any questions. 

 

DONATION HOURS AND PROCEDURES

Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from noon - 5 p.m., or until the store's donation quarantine space is full.  

Please keep in mind the following new procedures.

  1. We will ask donors to place donations outside on tables and bins. From there, we will bring them to the designated area in the store/warehouse.
  2. All staff are required to wear face coverings. Gloves are optional.
  3. Donors are asked to bring in only saleable items. Staff will decline any non-saleable furniture.
  4. We are limiting the quantity of donations accepted each day. Once the store is full, the donation center will close for the day.
  5. Donors will line up in a car queue line, with one vehicle donating at a time.
  6. We will not be doing donation pick-ups at this time.
  7. A manager will be stationed at the donor door to answer any questions.
