As I drove onto the Minot Ranch Campus this morning the sun was shining and the campus grounds looked immaculate as always. I couldn’t help but smile and feel a sense of pride for this amazing agency.
I guess I was feeling a little nostalgic, thinking about the many various roles each individual staff plays to keep operations running smoothly across three Ranch residential locations and eight thrift stores. It’s pretty awesome when you think about it; everyone does their small part of God’s work on earth to help the most vulnerable among us—traumatized children.
And this is where you come in…Ranch supporters from all over the nation! I’m truly awe-inspired that so many people, from so many places, care about these kids whom they’ve never even met. That must be God working one of his many miracles.
I hope you know the importance of your donations, prayers and support to the Ranch and more importantly, to our children. If you ever ask yourself, “Am I really making a difference?”, the answer is a resounding and emphatic, “YES!”
As Ranch employees, we remind each other that “it takes a village.” That village includes all of you, one-by-one, contributing the hard-earned fruits of your labor. In the end, it all equates to something so much bigger—like providing precious children with spiritual guidance and emotional well-being. Just a couple things we couldn’t do without our village.
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! You do make a difference and we, Ranch staff and children, truly couldn’t be more grateful!
