New Therapist Joins Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is excited to welcome Connie Rod, Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), to its Minot campus. Rod will provide addiction services for residents at the Ranch, including chemical dependency assessments and treatment, communicating and coordinating treatment progress, and engaging family and community resources to support the adolescent throughout the stages of the recovery process. She will also develop new programming for our chemical dependency treatment and a new program for youth who have been affected by parental substance abuse.

Rod received her master’s in counseling from Southern Methodist University in Plano, TX. She also received her Master of Public Administration from Norwich University in Northfield, VT. In addition to work as an LAC, Rod has also worked as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and as adjunct faculty at Minot State University.
