Our QRTP's, located in Fargo and Minot, ND, provide a less acute level of care for children who need a safe place to live and supportive services. In addition to providing for children’s basic needs of food and shelter, the children have access to therapy, recreation therapy, and spiritual life activities. Most of the children living at the Ranch attend Dakota Memorial School, our on-campus school—although a few of our RCCF residents do attend their local high school while living at the Ranch.
The Ranch's Qualified Residential Treatment Programs are perfect for children who are able to succeed in a less structured environment. In many cases, transitional services at the QRTPs provide support for children as they transition home and into the community. In other cases, our independent living program assists residents as they transition to adulthood.
Our Qualified Residential Treatment Programs are located in Minot and Fargo, and each facility (we call them cottages) specializes in treating children with different needs. These needs include autism spectrum disorders, trauma, personality disorders, conduct and legal issues, reactive attachment disorder, mood disorders, substance use issues, sexual responsibility issues, and children in need of social skill instruction.
