
Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Safe Home is a 24 hour emergency shelter care facility for children who are between the ages of five and seventeen. Most children come to the Safe Home by referrals from county social service agencies. The length of stay for children at the Safe Home ranges from a few hours to a maximum of 30 days.
Community Partners
The Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch Safe Home works primarily with Cass County Social Services and the surrounding counties. Other working relationships are with Division of Juvenile Services, Tribal Child Protection Services, Fargo Public schools, and Prairie at St. Johns, with the utilization of their Partial Day program.
