Kathy Hawken, Fargo, N.D., is a supporter of the mission of Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. She was in Missouri visiting family and called back to the Ranch with this story:

She was at a St.Louis grocery store and she was discussing North Dakota with the boy bagging her groceries. She said she was from North Dakota and this young boy said, "Yes, I've been to North Dakota.”

Kathy asked him where. The boy replied, “I've been to Minot. I was at the Dakota Boys Ranch. They saved my life."

She couldn't believe it!
