Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch passed an in-depth review of its services, and has received accreditation by the Council on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) in October 2009 for a period of three years for the following programs:
* Residential Treatment: Integrated: AOD/MH (Children and Adolescents)
* Residential Treatment: Mental Health (Children and Adolescents).
The accreditation will extend through June 2012. According to a letter sent by CARF to the Ranch (10/19/09): "This achievement is an indication of your organizations' dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of practice excellence.
"Your organization should take pride in achieving this high level of accreditation."
When the service or program you choose is CARF-accredited, it means your provider has passed an in-depth review of its services.
CARF-accredited means that the provider (DBGR) meets rigorous CARF guidelines for service and quality -- a qualified endorsement that DBGR conforms to nationally- and internationally-recognized service standards and is focused on delivering the most favorable results for their clients and families. |
